I'd rather see Kuznetsov play in the show this year.
Rasmus Andersson only has a 6 team No Trade List. Reportedly, LA was NOT on that list of 6. Andersson just didn't want to sign a long term contract with LA and that nixed the deal. Right now, there is no publicly available information as to how many teams on "Andersson's personal list" of who he is willing to sign with long term. Obviously, the trade return for the Flames would be greater with a team that he is willing to sign long term with, but he will still generate a good return before or at the TDL even as a "rental".
I'm team rebuikd, but the thing is a part of a rebuild is young players taking leaps forward. If the team is competitive on the backs of zayne, dustin, matt and connor…. isn't that the goal?
