Quinn needs to stop putting hundreds of pucks into shin pads. They fight and forcheck for the puck, get it to Quinn, he walks the line for 5 seconds and then rifles a puck into shins
The more Quinn "includes" his teammates, the less "surprised' they are going to be. Instead of being shocked and then stumbling when they receive the pass when quinn doesn't BobbyOrr it up the ice, they will expect the pass and do something.
Part of the answer is that the canucks need some time for teammates to develop chemistry

If the Canucks are serious about icing a solid team and keeping Quinn, they need to drop major assets and grab another elite offensive weapon. Harm is right, teams can play Quinn way tighter than they should because there's no other threats to worry about.

Get him with players he gels with, which will require some, ahem… practice time…So they'll have to figure it out. Since he's been on the radar for awhile, I'm sure they know their options with him. So, he plays center. Perfect, but how is he in the dot? Hopefully he has Kuzmenko type chemistry with Petey.
So he played with guys that don't seem to fit, really. Maroon? I haven't heard of a few of those players, as you mentioned they're not even there anymore. Wow..well, a fresh start he gets!
I think he should go strait to abby as a centre and have Manny make him a faceoff king like Raty
