Props to them for not getting overly frustrated and sticking to the game plan. Things will start going there way soon enough. Just stay locked in and focused
The effort on the ice is there and as a fan, that's all I ask. They fell behind quick and we all know last year this would have been a 5-1 or 6-1 loss. This team is mixing the no quit with some FU (as JT puts it) and I'm excited to see how far they go. LGR!
JT is a great leader. Cant help but want to keep grinding. He does it game in game out. So glad they brought him back. Everyone rips Drury but he wanted him and got him
LGR !!!!!
Nice win. Mika and Bread finally came alive. btw, to increase channel subscribers… do a Live Stream after games if you can
They came out with energy. The matchups with the Habs last season were very entertaining. We play better with that spark. Imagine if we had Gabe on that 2nd line instead of a guy that has no business playing in this league, and Othmann who loves to stir the pot and play physical over Raddysh who has shown no effort out there
They looked really good last night. They played a very heavy game( they beat up the Canadians all over the ice last night) they finished their checks all night long. Playing great defensively so far
One game is not enough to convince me.
Has anyone else noticed that Schneider is getting A LOT more physical?? I LOVE IT!!!!it’s like a chain reaction that’s carrying hopefully through the whole team….this is the key to winning in the playoffs…get physical….get tough…get scrappy….you can’t just turn something like that on like a light switch in the playoffs…..it must build throughout the year….and I feel it starting…..LETS GO RANGERS….NO MORE BEING PUSHED AROUND…NOW WE DO THE PUSHING!!!!
I agree, this game definitely gave me hope and showed the team is different.
That was a great win, we definitely needed the win! They played gritty hardnose hockey after giving up the early lead
Plenty to like in last night's effort, and across the board.
There's D and there's effort.
Could have folded the tents and quit after the first 8 minutes – came back for the win.
Great effort and fight by Carrick…but when did Rempe become a Quaker? Arber Wifi was after him all night – grabbing, punching, cross checking… and no fight back… and ends up in the box anyway.
Refing was awful, but it didn't decide the game.
Like I've been saying….
Slow start, we need to start that checking from the start
Haven't checked like this all over the ice in a million years. Still missing key pieces. But they finally have an effective system and coach to build on. Similar to the Panthers. Now get us the kind of two way tough guys and agitators that excel in the system.
❤
Enough cheerleading BS I am unsubscribing because you refuse to say anything about Sheary.
Take the A away from panarin and give it to carrick damn it
Don't get too carried away here. Yes, the team is doing some things well (particularly on defense). But last night's win doesn't happen with a even a league-average goalie in the Montreal net. If this team is going to be successful, they need to start getting some traffic in front of the other team's net. Thus far this season, other than the 4th line, none of the forwards want to go anywhere near the crease for some reason. It's the main reason they aren't scoring in most games. Also, yes, Bread came alive last night. For about three shifts in the 3rd period. Other than that, he was having probably his worst game of the season. Those three shifts are a positive sign. The structure on D is a positive sign. But the team still has a LOT to fix before they even start thinking about the playoffs.
They must learn how to put the pack in the ocean at home! They still should play Gabriel parole. Call him up. Still have to learn better power play.
You are high bro. This team is 5-8 games over.500 type team. Borderline playoff caliber. Get back to me in March
Keep Robertson bring up Morrow get rid of Soucy & Leikaneen
We're only 7 games into the season. RELAX! We will have a better understanding after the Rangers play 30 games.
Now if they can score at home that would be great!
Pump the brakes a little and ease up on the espressos. It’s one win against the Habs.
And still 1 cup since ww2 😂
I’m impressed with their defensive prowess so far. Have to believe that is more about the coach’s approach bc the the personnel are not all that great. Happy to see them playing well, even in the losses.
Like I said many Ranger fans are pressing the panic button and this began on their second game of the season. The team still has some loose screws to tighten before they can be considered playoff contenders and this will be taken care of before the the end of the first half of the season.
These guys beat an easy Montreal Team and choked in OT vs the Leafs Thursday Night.
The scoring is back? You guys have 1 goal at home in 4 games.
People seem to think Miller is some kind of superstar – good player no doubt – but in watching him in a Rangers jersey he has done nothing particularly remarkable to the level of a Panarin for example.
Vince on a previous episode of his pod said that everyone at the time was pleased with the Zibanejad contract. Like his stuff but that simply isn't true. Many warned about the term and in particular the absolute God awful structure of the no move protection. Signing him to that deal with the aforementioned move protection was crazy, and he sums up the issues there are with this roster.
That core was never getting it done. And when you see everyone in a scrum as he skates away, leaving another player outnumbered while he is the only one who doesn't take a man, you need not wonder why.
We have mostly overpaid players on long contracts and nothing looking exactly superbly promising in the youth department. Mr Christmas has ushered in an era of absolute average and it is exactly what I expected him to do.
