Devils are good, but you should do a video on the Mammoth. Defense is way better than last year and Schmaltz is having an underrated year. Guenther and Keller continue to light it up.
Devils mostly great because of Allen strong play. But of course they gonna revert to Markstrom once he's healthy and it will likely ruin all momentun

People are saying they are always hot in October, but this is different than previous years. They finally have a bottom 6 that can play fast and score. Last season they made playoffs with the top 2 lines carrying the load. This season even with injury, I think they have the depth to stay at the top

Can we stop equating early season heater equal to cup favourites. Just because there’s bubble teams had long off season, with fresh legs don’t mean they have what it take to win a round
Relax, its October, May is a lot of games, injuries and trades away
The only thing we're missing a sniper for Jack. When Bratt-Hughes-Toffoli, Jack and Bratt were at an over 2 points per game pace. We can't rely on just Jack to pull all the goal scoring weight of our top line. Bratt is passer and Palat just isn't a top liner anymore. Mercer performs best at center and Gritsyuk is still developing, so we'll need to trade for a finisher at the deadline. Then, we'll be set.
But besides that, I'm shocked that you didn't mentioned the absolute glow up Luke got this year. He's already replaced Dougie on the top pair and our 1st PP. He's completely taken over as our new #1 defenseman. He's been so dominant so far. Last year, he was constantly fumbling and played of all of last season on the bottom pair, but this year, he has finally arrived and has been amazing so far.
Honestly everyone looks like a cup contender after playing minnesota, but devils idk. Theres already so many injuries league wide and the condensed schedule is scary for everyone. At this point already screw the Olympics. The nhl product is gonna suffer so much this season but will make for craziness with the standings
