Well, that answers the question “Where is the Avs’ power play?” Apparently hiding in the rafters of the Ball Arena like a goblin, waiting until the end of October to strike.
Were the Avs that good or Markham just that bad? Either way that had to be the horror show of his career, which not that long ago included being in the All-Star game.
Even the Avs defense, other than turning into a zombie for a few minutes in the second period, was pretty solid.
