The leafs will make the playoffs but it will take more then skill to win the stanley cup. It will also take will, desire, determination and mental toughness. Every team in the playoffs will play hard and their regular season record will mean nothing. Just look what happened to tampa last year had the best record last year and got swept 4-0 in the first round of the playoffs.
As a Leafs fan I am old enough that I have never seen my Leafs win a Cup but old enough to remember the Dynasty of the Habs. What they would do with Dryden in goal is fool around for 2 periods and if Dryden kept them in the game, maybe only down a couple with Dryden making save after save they would win the game. All they had to do was turn it on for the 3rd and they win. They were so much better than most of the other teams. What the Leafs did here was backward, get in front for 2 then take the 3rd off and hope you are far enough in front

Subban was stumblin bumblin on that 4th leaf goal. Then the fifth goal Subban was passive on the check,he should have rubbed that dude out man!
