I'm so used to the Oilers starting slow that I've learned to not care too much, but if they're still struggling by December then look out!

It's nothing new. This is the third year in a row Oilers got of to a bad start, they'll be there at the end just like the previous 2 years.

He was always this bad. It is just more noticeable now because they aren't outscoring their blunders and are not winning.
The problem is that being rubbish in October does matter. Playoff seeding and home ice matter in the playoffs. I know, I know it didn't last year, but they never went to a game 7. If they get to the finals again, home ice in a potential game 7 will be huge. Also getting a 4 or 5 game series in round 1 makes a big difference if you are planning to play 4 rounds, so these October points matter

Bouchard has been brutal. But so has most of the team. The offense can’t score more than 3 goals, rookies are struggling offensively. Oilers not getting big saves versus if you watched Igor, the rangers made plenty of errors. But Igor made up for almost all of em.
