People wondering why Redwing fans getting angry at pundits like this and Adam Wylde for their statements.. it isnt because they dont believe in the redwings. its because they are CONSTANTLY stating the opinion with absolutely false statements and facts. The Redwings have NOT had a hot start every year. Go check the 1st 10 games records the last 3 seasons. Adam Wylde saying Yzerman is still a failure even if they make the playoffs when yzerman explicitly said over and over and over he would not trade assets for short term gains. Its basically his 5th year, not his 10th. He couldnt even trade assets when he got here because there were NONE and he got to detroit literally right when the season started. Whats fact is no GM has hit on as many draft pics as yzerman since he became a GM. NO ONE. Which is what you want in rebuilding. The pics that holland left him were Zadina (not even in NHL anymore) Veleno (traded) and Rasmussen who is now a healthy scratch and on his way out. He had Larkin. That was it. And then bottomed out several years just to never pick higher than 4th. Its not your takes, its the fact you guys are making them on just completely false narratives and events that never happened like them "always having a hot start" which they havent. also noticed its ONLY toronto people making these false statements. If you're going to comment on hockey especially for a living, d0 at least the bare minimum of research before talking out your behind. The Blackhawks are so much better than the Sharks. The Hawks young defense is light years ahead of the Sharks. Wyatt Kaiser would be the #1 defenseman on the Sharks.

To say "from a team perspective you look at the Sharks and it's like, they're the same old Sharks" goes to show that you haven't watched a minute of this team so far. First, Askarov & Nedeljkovic are alternating games so there's that. But while there's obviously been goals that were soft or were ones the tendy's should have had, this is NOT the same old Sharks. The team defense thus far simply has not executed consistently from period to period and from game to game. We've definitely deserved a fair bit of criticism for this season, but it's so incredibly obvious if you've spent 20 mins watching San Jose that this team is very very much not who they've been the last 3 years. Do better.

As an Avs fan, I think our 3 goals on 30 power plays is a problem. Especially given our talent.

People keep ragging on the Hawks for having a slow rebuild and not getting Bedsy help, but they forget that when he was drafted was really the start of the rebuild. That’s when they finally sold off and decided to rebuild. Celebrini came in with good players, McDavid came in to kinda cap off the rebuild. Hawks have guys on the way plus 2 first round picks this year (3 second round picks). This may be the last year of the Hawks in a full rebuild state
I dont think kadri is a great fit for the habs. They would have to give too much for a guy that is old and has at most another 2 years of 2nd line level hockey to give. They need a guy that is late 20s that theyll be able to sign for 5-6 years to be a 2nd center. Then it would solidify the core and make the habs a force to be reckon with
I'm a Habs fan and I wouldn't be over the moon about getting Kadri tbh. Sure he'd improve the team but by how much, and how much do we have to give up to get him? I feel like the price would be too high for how much we'd get out of a 35 year old player. And as much as I love that the Habs are playing amazing right now, I feel like there's gonna be a come to earth period at some point in the season. I do not expect them to win the division, so do we really need a guy for right now or do we need a guy we can sign for long term for when the Habs are truly a contender.

The rangers outplayed the opponent in 6 of the first 7 games. The goaltending and defense was awesome and the offense was getting good looks but they were really unlucky. They weren’t good against the wild and sharks at home and it looked like the sky was falling after the disaster in Calgary, but they’ve looked good the past two games. Good defense and goaltending against Vancouver and a huge comeback in Edmonton. I think once we really start scoring and trocheck comes back we can be a really good team. Also, I agree with Jesse about lafreniere. I think he’s a bust.
