Team is just so meh. Over passing, lines make no sense as soon as the blender comes out. Like half of our shots are from the D zone. Picks looked not good again. Really need something bad.
Only one word describes this game pathetic
Pete DeBoer is sitting at home.
Oil are boring to watch for the first time in a while. No spark from anyone it seems.
I Hope Oilers Keep Emberson
Totally uninspiring.
Stupid ERRORS again cost us
Whatever changes they made to the system ……………….. sorry I fell asleep typing about it! Boring hockey!
Thank good old #2 for their go ahead goal. 3 feet away from taking his man in front of the net just standing and looking….. Until the shot was taken then he winced and turned to the side…. Wow wtf
One word for these games.. unacceptable…
Hate to say it, but Pickard's time is nearing an end. Time to swap him and Ingram
Here's a thought. Give the defense a slap up side the back of each of their heads especially that Bouchard. He always seems lost on the PK. That last goal he was 7 ft away from the guy all alone in front of the net. He is the weakest chain in the Oilers link defensively. If he isnt trying to win the highest giveaway contest, then he is standing around looking at the puck like a spectator, instead of tying up his man. At least lay on the ice in front of the net and maybe he might stop a pass once in awhile. Hey Knoblauch! Quit throwing Bouchard out onto the PK unit! He's an offensive defenseman! Roll him out during PP. And keep him on McDavid's line, instead of on Draisaitl's line! That way (not if), but when Bouchard give's away the puck at the blue line, McDavid has a chance to steal it back. Draisaitl isn't as quick as Connor is. Also what is with both McDavid and Draisaitl and giving the puck away multiple times a game? Savoie and Roslovic are skating around defensemen, yet McDavid and Draisaitl can barely keep the puck on their sticks? Both our top two players don't skip leg day but they look like they haven't been on a hand agility day in quite awhile! Here's a thought, evolve your stick handling decisions. Every Defenseman playing against us, knows Connor's tricks and robs him of the puck almost at a 90% success rate. and goalies know it too!
