🎧 https://link.chtbl.com/LOAvalanche?sid=YouTube verrouillé sur toute la ligue de la LNH : chaque équipe, fantasy, espoirs et plus 🎧 https://linktr.ee/LockedOnNHL Suivez sur X : Chris : https://twitter.com/c__micieli Zach : https://twitter.com/XavierSuperfly Show Page : https://twitter.com/LOPN_Avalanche #NHL #coloradoavalanche _________________________________________________________________________ Soutenez-nous en soutenant nos sponsors ! 11.5 mil is perfect because its 8 years the long haul ,if he goes and puts up just bonkers numbers which i hope so this will be a steal year after year
Feel better Zach!
Glad to have Zach back!
Glad you're on the mend Zach, that doesn't sound like any fun.
Officially, they can't start negotiations until July 1st of next summer with Makar (and Lehky), but I wouldn't be surprised if the Makar deal isn't announced shortly after the opening of free agency. I do agree that it could fall anywhere in the range of MacK to Kaprisov, but my money is on him taking the 8 years at $14M AAV with full NMC and stacked up signing bonuses. I get the feeling that Makar is cut from the same cloth as MacK and Landy in that winning is his primary focus. He won't take the max deal so that the team is complete, but he'll take enough to keep the NHLPA fairly happy with it.
Sounds like Marty wanted time to consider his options before they started negotiating, and the avs gave him that time. He needs to be in that 90 to 100 point range now with that contract though. As of now he is on track for that
So glad to have you back, @XavierSuperfly. You were missed, and we hope for your continued recovery.
sharks the next day u think blackwood plays his former team 1st game back n wedgie plays vegas is my guess
I’m the 5th guy saying it was a bargain. Necas fits so well in this system with that core 3
Cale will sign for 15.5, we're raising the cup
McFlushy is an idiot. I hope they’ll NEVER win a cup again. He hated Mikko.
Sure, Zach, you are an idiot. Mikko wanted 12 period. And he and MacKinnon never liked each other. You are so stupid! Where did they find you?
Glad you are getting better, Zach. 😊
Talking about Val, after the last game he was last in the goalie line. I didn't see who the player before him (someone shorter than either he or Wedgewood, i know that doesn't narrow it down much 😏) was still there and Val reached around him to grab them both into a big bear hug with such a big smile on his face! 😁 I don't want to read too much into anything but I really hope Val is feeling good with his team and everything at this time 😊
11.5 is the new 10 Aav with new cap. So it’s a good number for a first line winger
Chris, Makar would never take $12.6, not possible.
Like Necas' fit on this team, I just want him to work on reducing his turnovers, and keep working on he and Nate not taking the same space on the ice.
Got that Goku heart virus and still wants to commentate Avs news! Welcome back!
Glad you're back Zach. Chris is great, but, you make the team more complete.
I think Necas is a perfect fit for the Avs and although it’s a big number now, I am confident the contract will age well. With that said, I do think Avs management made some grave errors with Mikko, and to make matters worse, he will continue to haunt the Avs for 8 years, ouch! Looking forward to the game against my Knights in a couple hours.
Glad you passed that constitution check, Zach. Time to change dice.
Awesome podcast guys. Appreciate the D&D reference with the nat 1 and constitution check comments.
With the cap going up, they could have fit rant and makar both at 14-16. Its just a matter of wanting to spend 14 on one forward is probably reserved for Mack.
Cale Makar and Sam Girard come up for contracts same year….who do you think they'll give a pay day to? 😂😂😂
I don't think you can really look at the trade from just Colorado – Carolina anymore, there has to be that Carolina – Dallas included too. So Stankoven et co. needs to factor in too.
But I still can't say who won it.
If we go to the "who won the Cup first" and the result is Colorado misses playoffs in the next seven years and wins it in season #8 with Necas being out of that season #8 due to being injured the whole season while Dallas goes to the Stanley Cup finals the next six seasons in a row without ever winning it, then are you really saying Colorado won the trade? This being of course totally hypothetical.
Hei guys, you can' 5 pay Makar less than Kaprizov. That's just do.
So if you speculate the numbers under 17M , that' s waste of time.
