The start of the season has been disappointing.
Leon falls down when hes tired, he doesnt rest himself, he digs to deep, the PKing is to much gravy for him, hes a big Unit like a Challenger that pushes a little wind not a streamlined Vette like Connor. Reduce his PK minutes in case we need him in OT.Sticks have to stay on the ice and feet have to move as habits and the communication has to be loud and clear all game long not just the first 20 minutes. When you call it out you take ownership and thats a greater part of leadership and a lesser part of Gamesmanship. Keep on fleshing things out all is well. Maybe its time to start with your #2 PP to change it up a little considering the extra PK minutes being picked up by the 2-Kings..

So Kris, can you please explain why last year you benched Draisaitl and this year Nurse, yet you never bench Bouchard, when he is playing the worst stretch as a highly paid Oiler, that we have ever seen?

Imagine if Sather was coaching Bouchard. Sather would rip Coffee in the press let alone the dressing room. Oiler best players still play for themselves not this team. It is funny when Draisatl even starts to back check and then Oiler media say he has developed as a two way player. What because he does this once every 10 games. Knoblauch lets the players run this team. He only takes ice time away from young guys who make mistakes. Bouchard, Draisatl and McDavid run this team. Knoblauch is useless.
Coach is too weak and not imposing hard his own coaching skill. Bouchard must go. He is totally a liability for this team.
Bouchard is struggling and the fans are ripping him apart. Skinner is also part of the problem. Skinner never made a save the entire game that was anything athletic. Butterfly only saves that pucks hit him. Turnovers suck and knowing you have the leagues worst goalie on breakaways in the net is not helping. However you cannot blame turnovers on this game. Rangers had turnovers and Shesterkin made incredible saves with talent and agility. Not falling to his knees with the same move over and over! Oilers have a crap goalie and some of us fans have said it for 3 years now. Skinner is a backup at best!!!
I usually think the media ask dumb repetitive questions, but I'm glad they're at least asking the tough questions about Bouchard's poor performance lately
