Nice podcast. Good updates I would like to add to.
The third line of Graf Misa and Guadette showed some chemistry and good play while popping in some goals before the injury bug hit them.
I feel that once they are healthy and they have figured out the roster/contract situation (assuming Misa stays in the NHL) that line will begin to produce again.
This would give them three lines that can score. There would be the issue of where to put Skinner though.
Line 1: Smith Celebrini Toffoli
Line 2: Eklund Wennberg Kurashev
Line 3: Graf Misa Gaudette
As to Asky, it is important to note that he trending in the right direction as his first two starts were not good but recently he has reversed that in all but one game he started (his third in a row).
My other thought is that moving him to the AHl for any reason would be a mistake as they do not have a competent third goalie. If they did have Asky play games in the AHL then Skarek would be the backup. That should send shivers down the backs of all Sharks fans.
What about trade rumors?
Any news on a new coach. Current coach is 29-75. watch Detroit game against vegas Detroit was using nice pass set ups.
Misa, for me. He is still playing like a boy in a man's game. I know that sounds bad. He's not dictating play, of course if something drops in his lap he's good enough to do something with it. The bad part is he's playing at about 60 percent of hi projected abilities; which hurts the team when he's out there. Do you take the hit and strive for development? Yes, in my mind you do. By the way, Maklin will be the next captain of this team. As he should be!
