McDavid could have our best chance of the night & wont even shoot the puck even tho he isn’t even playing his best & just being a few points from 1st in the league is crazy but a lot of people need to start playing
Maybe try playing lines three or four once in a while. They don’t even need to shower after the games I bet.

Once again the Oilers have come out looking like the discombobulated team they are, it’s their identity, except this season after losing two cups in a row and rewarding lots of players with bigger contracts for not getting the job done that’s crazy. Oilers management is more to blame then the players, can’t win with to many new players in the lineup, they’ve broken the chemistry that made them a winning team.
Just mix the lines more and then abandon them and put Leon and Mcdavid together again. Rinse. Repeat.

Some kid working at Arby’s would give a more insightful post game interview. I just don’t see much hockey IQ here. Every single cliche answer you could imagine. That just tells me that he actually does not know what is wrong, or how to fix it. I’m not suggesting that being an NHL coach is easy but, we are talking about a guy who put Bouchard on the ice during a penalty kill lol. Come on! Seriously????? Anyways, I used to be a diehard fan of the Oilers following every game, buying merch, and just basically invested in this team, and now I’m just not interested anymore. I’m actually calling on Monday to cancel my satellite. The Oilers were the only reason I kept it. Just don’t watch much of anything else. Just listening to the same excuses after every pathetic loss is getting old fast. They keep making the same mistakes. I swear they have pre scripted answers to every question. It’s like pulling a string on a kids doll and listening to the same thing over and over again lol.

Time to hold people accountable coach. Bench them if they don’t perform! Stop blending lines constantly! Demand trades for non performing players! Season is 1/5 done. At this rate we may not even make the playoffs. In this market if we don’t turn things around in the next 10-15 games people may end up losing their jobs! You need to coach and demand and squeeze the best out of your players.
