Carlo and Reilly are both terrible defensively, play no contact for two player over six feet tall and two hundred pounds, both scared in corners, and Berube has no defence structure in defensive zone, Berube was a tough hockey player ,not a smart hockey player. If Jeannot was playing on Leafs zadorav would not have got away with that check on Matthews, bunch of players playing scared
As a leafs fan it was embarrassing watching this team play a full 69 minutes and Matthews getting hit from behind and no response and nobdy was moving there feet let’s wake up when your star player get hit let’s make a response earlier we need to make better changes on this team

It's not Babcock, Keefe or Berube. If you think it is you are a clown. Every player that leaves the Leafs organization flourishes when they leave. The coaches are great before or after the are with Toronto. Matthews is a huge problem. It's obvious he does not want to play Berube's system. He as a captain should be motivating and getting the players involved and buying into the system. He is NO captain. He motivates nobody. He is dead inside and it shows. Toronto ran the wrong guy out of town. Now they are are stuck with biggest primadonna in the league #34. Stolarz has always been a backup. His new contract is backup money. If I were Stolarz I would be on the phone with my agent.

it was evident from the start of the year about the leafs defensive play was poor. Stolarz was playing very well and winning games for the team. Shots on goal were providing evidence of a poor defensive team . Now the goaltending has cooled off. Most likely due to being over worked. And now he is injured . The issue about the defense is becoming more apparent

You lost me at Rielly…he's bar none, the worst, most overpayed dman in the league who, for some reason, people thought should have gotten the C…he's a minus player by a lot and his bank account is full. Not even a third pairing. Can't play the position he's paid to play.
