So much secrecy surrounding Mattews but anyone with eyes can see it's a reoccurring injury that he tried to address in Germany.
HOpefully they will parlay the extra ice time to guys who deserve it and they get to shine for once. There is still a lot of talent to spread around the lineup.

It's amazing just how short or time behind the bench can literally suck the life out of you. Is it just me but Berube aged faster than the President of the United States. Goes to show you who run the show there what the point of a Coach and a GM when the players have all the answers. Those players do not play for each other there it's an individual sport in that locker room. Full Trust means they own me in Leafs land. I say Berube is gone by next season. Leafs don't make the playoffs and he's gone
