The chewing out that the whole team took from Sturm and the healthy scratch/ benching is what we used to call it of Mason Lohrei helped both the team to gel and pull together under the new system and teach the 2nd year player Lohrei to play smarter if he wants to stay in the lineup under Marco.
I think the B’s have bought into the system. That’s not to say they’re perfect. They still have problems picking up open players in front from t8 e to time. That’s an issue with a lack of talent and experience. They need one more good defenseman. They also need more scoring up front. One more legit 30 goal guy would really balance them out. So, the system seems to have got them out of their hole. They all seem to be pulling together but I think we’ll still see a couple of down turns from time to time. I don’t think it will be a six game losing streak but they might lose two or three in a row here and there. Bottom line is they’re looking like a playoff team now. Not a Stanley Cup up team but they should make the playoffs.
Stop always acting like year after year the Bruins are the greatest hockey team to ever play it's ridiculous.
I had a prof in university that was really a great teacher. His approach to a lecture was:
1. Outline the material that was about to be presented.
2. Teach the new material.
3. Summarize the material presented.
So it's not surprising that Marco had to go back and review the approach that he wants to see. A little bit of repetition is useful in making the points sink in.
Stanley Cup!!!
Break out the lunch pails!!
I think they have the ability to make it to the dance (which would be a good thing) but not talented enough to win it all … fun to watch thou
