Hawks fan here, great to see Bedards game evolving 100% this season. His rookie and sophomore campaigns he was very one dimensional, but his 200 ft game is night and day better this season, awesome stuff to see. In 2 years he’ll be the best player in the league
To be clear, the refs in the Detroit-Chicago did indeed suck, but I don’t think it was in favor of the Hawks.
Many of the stops Solderbloom made were indeed not high danger, but he did make the save of the year on a cross crease pass where he slid over and just deflected the puck with his toe.

As a wings fan I feel like the team is cursed. It just seems like things fall into place so much easier for pretty much every team that has gone through a rebuild the last decade.
No Red Wings fan is surprised. I know I’m not. I love Stevie but I think many fans will want to move on if they miss the playoffs once again. And it’s starting to look like they will.

Obviously cool to see Bedard break through this year and briefly lead the league in points (assuming Mackinnon scores tonight)…but quietly Levshunov is starting to look more comfortable out there and is producing above a point every other game. Thata boy Artie!

Chicago played well enough to win, but I'm gonna say it. The zebras effed this game up. High sticks and crosschecks everywhere. A face slash on Larkin. A blatant trip in the front of the CHI net. None of it was called…Hell, this looked like playoff hockey… 🤬
I am sure you've noticed the Blackhawks give up a lot of shots. Ben Pope (beatwriter) had an interesting piece on Blashill's defense. While he wants guys to box out anyone at the net front, he doesn't want guys clogging the shooting lanes trying to block shots but screening the goalie. This will allow more shots through, but the goalie will have a clear view of it and be able to stop it and control the rebound.
I repeat, I will not become a Blackhawks fan again until they beat Nashville more than just once.
Then I’ll still remain skeptical because of that idiot they call the GM, He seems to love GARAGE SALES; I’ll bet Bertuzzi will be the first to go, probably to Detroit or the LA Kings.

how long before canada realizes they gave up way to early on connor and they make room for both him and macklin. Nice to see a game the hawks win through speical teams, 5 on 5 they have been a pretty solid club. More importantly as Thanksgiving sneaks up on the calander, the Hawks have not played themselves out of contention as they have so many past seasons. Fun team to watch with so much upside between the rejuvinatated Bedard, kids holding strong on the blue line, a top tier goalie to build in front of, and then of course Frondell, Kantserov and Lardis building their case for the future…… we are back!
The Hawks finished 3-2-1 on the trip. Deserved better than 1-point against Edmonton. They still must get more offensive zone-time and stop getting outshot by their opponents. The Hawks have only outshot opposing teams five times in 16 games. That said, however, they are battling and look fast. Hope Frank Nazar is not out long.
Bedards career in a nutshell. Great rookie year, sophomore slump, and superstar. People were calling this kid a bust for one down year out of his first 3 lmao. He is 20!

Hawks get 7 pts in 6 games on the regular West Coast swing… and are now home for 8 of their 9 games at the United Center… They're 3rd in the Western Conference are more and more looking like the turnaround team of the season.
