WOW isles took it to rags. and when 30 bats 1.000 very good chance isles are gonna win.
rags are hot garbage at home. shut out 5 times, only 6 g's scored at msg. ancient offense isles ran during louzer era looks like '80's oil compared to rag offense at home this season. wtf are rags paying sullivan all that $$$ for?
and speaking of young isle talent. 17th pick k. aitchenson is on fire. back2back ot winners, scored fastest barrie hattie in 5:08. second in ohl in g's, 15. second among d men in pts. 12th in scoring. leads ohl in pp g's, 8.

  2. I never turned on Sorokin if he’s back to his old self couldn’t be a better time for this Road trip 👏👏👏👏very good job of Shutting down the Rangers long overdue LGI🙌 thanks Gil 👍🏼

  3. Good morning, Gil. How are you? It's a split decision for the Islanders this weekend. The bad they lost to MN at 🏡, and badly, too. Saturday, they played the dreaded Rangers at the Garden, and they shut them out, too. If they concentrate for 60 minutes on a constant level, they have a chance to make the playoffs. Bo Horvat scored 2 goals. Friday 🌃 hero EMIL Heineman. 🐐, the defensive pairings. Saturdays hero Ilya Sorokin and Bo Horvat, 🐐, the 4th line. Sweet revenge for the Islanders. They ruined their own anniversary 🌃. Matthew Schafer's first Garden Party, and I think he was quiet. Sorokin's confidence is getting better. The defense has to get better, that means the forwards have to do more fore checking and back checking. Patrick Roy made some changes on defense. The Islanders are in NJ to face the 👹 tonight. They're young and talented It sounds like the Islanders have their work cut out for them. HAPPY 🎂, BILL GUERIN. He scored a hat trick in a win over the Capitals. Hear from you later. Gil, but before I go, I'm comparing the Islanders to Characters from The Godfather. Trots was compared to Tom Hagen. Denis Potvin was compared to Michael, and Smitty was Sonny, and there's more to come. Now, LET'S GO ISLANDERS.

  4. I'm excited to have Sorokin and regain his confidence and his form. I'd like to see them package a veteran forward or two. Maybe a revamp of the defense to a strong swifter skaters. Maybe throw in some toughness. Dare I say an enforcer

  5. Bring in Jordan kyrou. And strengthen up the defense. Get rid of polok pelech abd Mayfield asap

  6. There is no room for Jordon and his 8 million. We have players on the way that will soon be ready . We need a bigger, nasty 4 th line more then an 8 million player we can’t afford anyway with zero cap space or true need with young players almost ready

  7. Good morning team! Gil, the Islanders looked like a completely different team. We'll celebrate every win we get, but the Rangers haven't been the same team, especially at the Garden, for a while now. I still enjoy getting the 2 points from them anyway. Sorokin looked good in front a supportive defense, but had to make a few spectacular saves on his own. Both teams on a back to back, but the Rangers had to come from Detroit, and we only had to take board a bus. Really good team win. Do you think we can string a few of those together before their next loss? We don't have to travel far again, but this time we play the Devils. Fingers are crossed early for this one. I would love to have a good showing against them. Only time will tell. Thank you, Sir! Everyone, have a great day! See you all again tomorrow. Until then.. Let's Go Islanders!!

  8. We have corresponded before, and I can tell you you are a terrific moderator and analyst. As a Rangers fan, it was a tough loss. But, that's hockey. The Islanders will be a force to reckon with. If the NYR do not make playoffs, I root for the NYI. Bo Horvat is a tremendous player amd Schaeffer is a gemrational talent. He has the potential to be a Brian Leetch type defenseman. Rightfully so, as a New Yorker. Will read your book. Best to you. Keep.Up The Great Work.

  9. What a weekend Gil! I hurt my back walking off the stage of a show Friday so I was basically in pain the weekend and the first loss 5-2 just made me go uh oh rangers are next then BOOM 5-0 and then the miracle of Sunday the jets won. Made the pain worth it lol. That 9-2 loss left a taste in my mouth that didn’t wash out until you actually brought that to my attention of that was the last straw that broke the camels back and Lou was gone so yes it was a victory. Your words were my Listerine, washing that taste out of my mouth, well and a 5-0 shellacking! Let’s Go Isles! Another great video! Thank you!

  10. Always nice to beat the Strangers. And a shutout. But remember that the Rangers are the worst team in the league at home. PK now at 78%. After the last few years I may take that. Last thing. I would be pretty surprised if they beat the Devils.

  11. Gil, you and I must be sharing the same train of thought … I had just posted my morning thoughts and we are saying the same thing! Let's Go!!!!

  12. Bi polar so I'll take a glass half full… I hope it sets up interest in trades while at the same time the staff can get the crew's of both boats; Bridgeport aswell, ready for a new fleet next year to go out and set the market for the next five years with a good return on trades and draft luck/fortune… great year to win in Bridgeport and hedge bets for a lotto pick setting up a Dynasty run for the new fleet Isles starting next year…

  13. Really nice win on Saturday night, against the dreaded rangers. I love beating the strangers. I really love shutting out the strangers. Bo Horvat has been on a tear this season. I like Schaefer's confidence. Everyday game, and each shift, is a learning experience for the kid. Good or bad, the kid is getting his ice time, and we're seeing our future star and captain develop into an NHL player in real time. Exciting to say the least. Sorokin looks good. Typically, it's Varlamov shutting out the strangers, but it's nice that Ilya got the shutout this time. A nice payback for last season's beatdown at home and shutout at MSG. I still want to tank the season and get a top ten 2026 first round pick at it is a stacked NHL draft. The middle won't cut the mustard. We need to stink in order to get a good 2026 pick. Saturday was a pleasant surprise after stinking up the joint Friday night. I'd like to see Roy give Ritchie more ice time to help in his development. A great way to ensure a top 10 pick in 2026, would be to trade Pageau and Lee as quickly as possible. But let's be honest, the strangers aren't a great team this season. But a win is a win and always enjoyable when we beat the strangers.
