I am from Sweden and watched 2 periods this night. The boys was playing very well for 2 periods so I thought for myself: "Better get som sleep because of work tomorrow", they also have this in the bag. So woke up right about 15min ago and was eager to see what they WON with. I thought for myself NO WAY they could've let this one slip.

i accept this one point. a nice slap in the face at the right time is always helpful, before we get big headed. we are in a reasonably good position so far, injuries will always happen. the team has to stay humble and keep working hard.
Last night the officiating was HORRENDOUS. Absolutely horrendous. Can't blame them entirely, but they sure shit the bed last night (refs).
Intentionally leaving the o-zone should be penalized. Whether that's a face-off on your side of center ice or an actual penalty, whatever works. It's frustrating watching a team, even Ottawa, leave the o-zone because they don't have the perfect set up or need a change.
Shouldn't be leaving this game with 1 point, Sens were the better team but lost this one.
Dreadful capitulation yet again. Grieg and Kleven are currently awful hockey players. As I’ve said many times: this team are a million miles from being a cup contender. I can’t understand why anyone is happy with a point from this. It’s disgusting play AGAIN. They simply have no clue how to play for a full 60 minutes.

I find myself disagreeing with the boys for the first time in a long time. Kleven was not misused, Spence is not the savior everybody makes him out to be and I have no problem with him (Kleven) being double shifted in OT when the boys were not cashing on prime tries and with Chabot out. Also, it would have likely been Zub, or Jensen except they were already playing a ton of minutes. Ullmark was good overall, but the breakway goal went right through him. So, Ullmark was very good at points but again let in a softy. Kleven makes one mistake and people call for his head. Batherson throws out a pizza in a playoff game, then again this year and everybody jumps up to protect him.
We know that refs cost the Sens dearly, but plenty of work still to do, like for example an absolute failure to play a full game, which is a trend throughout the year.
Sens fan since 1992 how come everytime we play a an American team we have to play the refs like you say I've been complaining about this for years the refs dictate the games ever since Bettmen come on the seen in my opinion you have to keep money/ cup in the states and that's one way to do it. Ever year it happens its said how they steal the game from Canadian fans.
Brutal reffs.They are doing that against Canadian teams consistently.Maybe they are putting a "fix" in the game.
