Team was flat. Miller was no where to be found. If it wasn’t for Quick, they would still be scoring
Trocheck should have been named captain of this team. This team has no fire. Quickie came out after the buzzer cause this team has no balls. He probably did that to send the team a message.
I wonder if the #1 overall bust in nhl history (lafreniere) was watching and marveling at the #4 overall pick in that same draft (Lucas Raymond). It must be that central scouting got it wrong in 2020. Has to be. How can stuzle raymond Jarvis all be a trillion times better than our bust?
Quinn's assessment was accurate when he said he thought they got close to "stealing a point" (overtime). It would have been a steal, because the Rangers were dominated periods 1, 2, and 3.

Other than the first 3 periods it wasn’t that bad
It was nice to see they almost used my idea about wearing the road uniforms at home period instead, they had both teams wearing home uniforms. So this way maybe the ranges would think they were on the road playing in Detroit period but it didn't work. So let's do it right next game at home period period period wear the white Uniforms at have the other team. Wear the colored uniforms in the garden period hopefully that will get the Rangers to believe they're on the road and playing a road gabecause. They can't win for s*** at home. And don't tell me they beat Nashville, because my high school team could beat Nashville, if that's the only win they have at home and they've lost 8 games or 9 games at home already, I mean that's a total disgrace, so let's make sure they wear the road. Uniforms in the garden and have the other teams wear the home uniforms in the garden. Then at Lea.nSt , we might have a chance period period period

I go back to watching ranges hockey to the 1960s when Andy Bathgate.And camille henry and rod gilbert… Those ranger teams were awful because they never made the playoffs , but they did win games Pure and simple.. Even when the rangers stunk in the Mid seventies , they managed to win games at home. How is it possible that no matter who they play with the exception?Of course of a team as poor as nashville, But how is it possible that they can't beat even a bad team Add home ? Anybody else see Igor laughing on the bench when Quicky got pulled went to the bench and then had to come back out for the faceoff? Didn’t seem like Quick found it too funny he played his butt off and these guys let him down
A couple things I noticed
1. Will Cuylle as much as I like him, he is not a 1st line winger, a great 3rd line though
2. Detroit 1/3/1 scheme caused the Rangers issues all night due to the Rangers inability to make quick tape to tape passes or even touch passes.
3.Kelly Sutherland is not a good ref, I honestly don't know what that guy was watching on the ice
4. Another amazing goalie performance waisted because this team does not have the offensive firepower
5. JT Miller, needs to be better than what he is playing at. This does not remotely look close to the player that he was in Vancouver

This team is surely a mystery at this point. How can they be so solid on the road and so incapable of finishing at home? I want to believe they have a plan executing player development with someone like Perrault, yet there is no shining example on this team of player development. More like young player development retardation. It’s tragic. And truthfully, it makes me queasy to see Quinn at the podium. He was brought in years ago because of his availing to develop young talent. He was fired a few years later and has done nothing to give the impression he can succeed at the NHL level. I know this sounds harsh but that’s the data set. Some analytics person will tell us his numbers on PP or whatever are good but the teams he has been involved with don’t get it done. The Boston mafia, from Drury on down, conspire successfully to make the Rangers lousy. 😂
They rarely have the speed to skate out of their own end. Time after time it's long passes that are more hit and hope than anything else.
QUINN IS A FAILURE, THE TEAM DON’T PLAY FOR HIM AS CLEARLY SEEN, OVER THE PAST 3 YEARS, TRADE QUINN FOR JACOB, TRADE DRURY AS WELL, THEY HAVE BEEN THE SORE THUMB FOR THE TEAM, I AM THE ONLY ONE THAT SEES THIS, THE TEAM FAILURE TO SEPARATE PLAYER FROM PUCK IS A SIGN OF A TEAM WITH NO HEART OR PHYSICALLY CAPABLE OF BEING A REAL HOCKEY PLAYER.
After twenty games, this team is what it is…and that's a good team…YES…but not GREAT team and that's the issue….it's a team that will hover around the playoff position….MAYBE squeak in?…but I don't see great things…it's an average to GOOD team THAT'S IT!!!
