Celebrini 🥳🎊 was absolutely brilliant 👏🏼👏🏼🏒🚨.
Changes the sharks need to make ASAP: Put Drew back on TV and bring back the old goal celebration song.
Incredible! As well, nice nod to Smith in the post game main broadcast! Have to say this! Why was this game close; it shouldn't have been. Clearly again there was a coaching decision to protect the lead in the third period. At 2-0 the Sharks stopped pressing, stop attempting to enter the offensive zone. Go back and count how many times they simply send the puck back to the Mammoth. I'm not even talking about turnovers. THIS IS A COACHING DECISION!!! Please stop doing this! This is why the Sharks have lost many in the third period when they have a lead! We fans can handle a hard fought loss. But… losing because the Sharks gave the team endless zone time on our net! That's a huge no! The great teams never stop trying to ram it in the net! Is it the only reason the Sharks gave up leads? No! Sometimes teams are heavy, but the stepping on our own has to stop! I'm not buying anymore! "well, the team just stopped playing?"
You can quote Shakespeare all you want Brodie my friend but at the end of the day we almost blew it
Another good game by the Sharks, although too bad they blew a two goal lead and gave up a point to a Western Conf rival. What more can you say about Celebrini? Just that besides the hattie, he also forced the turnover which allowed Graf to set him on the breakaway. IMHO, his two-way play is what separates this kid from star offensive players.
As for the D, a better effort and good to see the Sharks coaches are FINALLY making players accountable. Heathy scratching Klingberg will hopefully send the right message to him and his team mates. He is great from an offensive standpoint, but as a Dman, he really needs to improve.
Go Sharks!!
Why hasn't Drew been with Randy the last few broadcasts?
1:02 The "Clutch gene" that Drew describes here is simple winner's mentality. Both Celebrini and Askarov have this "clutch gene". I cannot say with much confidence that either Thornton or Marleau ever had that "clutch gene". They liked "to play hockey", while Celebrini's on-ice performance and post-game interviews indicate he likes "to win". Huge mental difference between those two.
If they're no longer the desert dogs, can they be the tundra cows?
The Sharks had more turnovers than a bakery. Also, the Sharks power play consists of pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, turnover. The Sharks didn’t win this game. Celebrini and Askarov won this game single handed. They certainly are better than the past few years. But, they still have a way to go. And why isn’t Drew on the TV broadcast???
the thing I love so much about celly is his completely animated face at all these crucial moments. you can see his is committed down to the smallest muscle groups in his face lol!!
3:14 Returnof the Mack 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Well. the season is long. If you loose 5- 10 games in a row it will be a different story.
why didn’t drew interview macklin at the end of the game?
Not sure if the rest of the league really has much interest in the Sharks yet. If they learn to play better defense, San Jose will be back on the map. It's rather like watching a child grow right now. It's obvious they are heads and shoulders above last year but the team has a lot of growing pains to go through.
Glad to see this! The boys are getting better. Keep it going Sharks
