Can someone more knowledgeable explain why it WASNT interference on the challenge? He clearly affected the goalies ability to play the puck, no?
I hated the automatic penalty for putting the puck over the glass from the defensive zone since it was first implemented. It was just a way to try to boost goal scoring by giving out more PPs. But it shouldn’t be a penalty because it was almost exclusively done accidentally…the puck will roll over at the last second before a player tries putting it off the glass or something. It’s not like players were doing it on purpose, so the league never should have made it an automatic penalty.
The co-incidental minors for interference/embellishment was BS too. Two players collided on accident…not a penalty!
Copp was on a breakaway if Chiarot had his eyes up before putting it over the glass.

Terrible that they didn’t call that goalie interference, Talbot’s glove was knocked out of position a half second before that puck is in the back of the net
Trash ref indeed. But RW still struggling a lot here. Againts BJ broo..😅 if its not for BJ messed up their D on late period, we couldve lost again. I believe RW got better than last season but D still not good. Not good enough to push thru playoff IMO. I hope they'll improve it..
good to see the wings cleaning up bad losses with wins so far this season. Can't be going on those lenghy L skids that have haunted us the past years.

The red wings reporters keep asking the coach about "secondary scoring " agai. Compher and copp 5.5 million a year each. Copp has 1 goal in 21 games. And comoher has.2 goals in 21 games. Those two have left a very nasty odor for 3 straight years. Bring up john leonard he scores every night for grand rapids literally and he had 37 in ahl last year. Bring up lombari or nygard again. Nygard has started to score down there. Make a change. Copp and.compher are 1 year past due to pack their suitcase and leave
