   I’m surprised at how many thought Carlo was going to be good? He was on the decline before he left Boston, and was in a 3rd pairing role. Then Leafs place him top pair with another guy who shouldn’t be top pair and wonder why they get caved 🤪

   Literally a perfect example why the majority of hockey fans hate the Leafs fanbase.

   Leafs got dummied by a Habs team that doesn’t have one of their top D-men, one of their top PP guys, Dach and Newhook.

   Men vs Boys and the boys made the men look like boys.

   But yeah, the Leafs injuries are terrible.

   Guys please do not knock on the leaves. This is the best game they ever played. They brought old school back in my heart and my mind watching against Montreal. What a game the Maple leafs played these guys from the Marley’s coming up and playing like this we should get more of them. Forget about trading players trading drafts and depleting our systems the murderous wow he was 36 man. Wow wow defending his goalie fighting in front of the goalies net wow back in the 70s and 80s when I came from Australia that’s what made me fall in love all the fights and body checks open ice hits my dad used to say why are you watching this Crazy Leafs they’re fighting all the time blood running down their faces watch watch soccer basketball baseball. They don’t do that as much, but I loved it. I am a Spartan. It’s in my bloodline. I can never leave that and I can’t really erase that at all, but it was beautiful.

    The Leafs expend what little energy they have in the fist period and then just peter out. The same thing happens with the full roster.

    Were in nonis 2.0 era baby. Have carlyle 2.0 behind the bench. A guy who won a cup ears ago with a bunch of all timers with no ability to adjust appraoch or strategy for the tram they have in front of them.

    Keeping Berube past Dec 1 is an admission to fans they are tanking. It should immmediately be followed by shutting down Stolarz, Tanev AND Matthews for the rest of the year. GET SERIOUS. Do everything possible to salvage the heinous Carlo trade and avoid giving the bruins a pick btw 6-16. Im so angry at this ownership and management decison over the last 6 years.

    They havent made a single good trade aside from Luke Schenn(!) for a playoff push. I've hated every single one. Even Orielly was another old guy chase that wouldn't stick around. Never once did they pull the trigger for stable depth solution like lehkonen, hagel, paul, fluery. All trades i was desperate for them to make. Its staggering how badly they failed Tavares.
