For me I’d trade one of Marcus Pettersson, Hronek or Myers, obviously with their approval. I’d keep the dogs that are Sherwood and Garland because they are the backbone, the culture, the heart and soul of the team and harder to replace. In saying that, and Hughes aside, Sherwood is probably the most enticing to playoff teams and contenders. With a cap friendly contract the market is probably only a second round pick, and a late one at that. A second doesn’t interest me all that much, but a first certainty does. Looking at this through the lens of let’s say a Carolina, they are a Garland/Sherwood away from really popping off so they just might bite the bullet and cough up that first 🤞 but I doubt it
That article said UFAs. Jake, Boeser, Demko, are not UFAs. UFAs are Kane, Sherwood, Blueger (injured) Possibly Reichel, Kampf, and Forbort (injured). I don't think we are trading Forbort or Blueger, the rest can be on the table, I'd hope Kane is on the chopping block, Reichel and Kampf can be packaged, Sherwood can fetch us alot.
trade everyone except for EP40 and boeser. rebuild around them with the young guys and new draft picks.
Who are they going to trade when this management team has given anybody worth anything no movement clauses ? Myers boeser ,pety , Marcus Peterson , hronek , debrusk , and demko all can't be traded .

Mgmt better do their thing before the owners can them. I would rather mgmt. was let go before any of the players. They blew it these last two years.

They need to cap dump Kane, Hoglander, and Chytil. For selling high, you got Sherwood, Garland, and Hughes.
Quinn is counting the days when he can leave this dumpster fire of a team and management. I love Demko, but giving him that contract with his injury history was insane. The Kane signing was terrible. He is over the hill and has stupid judgement which lands him in the box most of the time. Adam Foote is a defensive minded coach on a team that needs offense.
Please god, don’t trade Sherwood
Pius Suter being let go was turning point. Should have kept Silovs. Just keep doing trades for less than equal talent. Until management gets fired nothing will change and paying fans are fed up.
We lost out on keeping Zadorov because we kept Myers, we lost out on Horvat because we kept Miller, we lost Suter & Silovs while signing Demko to a lot of money, and we didn't keep Lindholm. Sometimes, I think the management is swayed by the fans & media. Regardless, I am not thrilled with some of the management's decisions, and while I think that Adam Foote deserves more time to show the owner if he's the right guy, I was disappointed that they didn't consider asking Malhotra, first.
I figured with all of the changes over the past few years we would have to give the team the time to gel, but, most people seem to be less patient these days.
I would trade Thatcher Demko for whatever i could get because he is injury prone
If they trade Sherman or Garland, you can probably, no most likely say goodbye to Quinn Hughes, because he won't resign any extension with the Nucks without seeing real improvement towards being a true, bona fide contender. Not just a season or two making it to the second round! Hughes has stated that he will decide what he will do with the Canucks by the summer.
My wife and I have been life-long Canuck die hards, nearly 55yrs, but we can see the proverbial writing on the wall and feel it may be time to throw in the towel. We are too old to continue to follow a team with so much uncertainty and so, so many let downs. It has literally become Painful and downright Depressing to follow this team any longer.

Noy, its not like the Nucks will get rich on it. But Myers & Kane can & should be traded. Willander & Mancini deserve playing time. Lekerimaki will soon. I dont think they will move him, but Markus Pettersson should never have been acquired in the first place. He is our biggest fish, followed by, your did name him, DeBrusk. Last, no signature, off Sherwood goes also as you suggested… Always love your enthusiasm mate!
