They could just learn to play Better defensively
The argument that Skinner & Pickard took the Oilers to the finals is a really poor and non-sensical one. The team was 'better' on the field, way better 2 years ago, degraded but better last year and now the worst. McDavid and Draisaitl are getting older, more impatient. The past is no guarantee for the future. Having worst goal-tending of the league is a huge burden on the top guys, it is obvioous, so what is the point to defend goal-tending to a fault???
The Edmonton bed sOilers will do SFA re their goaltending.
Die Oilers haben jetzt sechs Heimspiele, danach sollte man ein Fazit ziehen. Der Spielplan war brutal und Verletzungen waren auch ein Problem. Pickard hat ein starkes Spiel gemacht in Tampa und Skinner war gegen Florida auch gut. Leute wie Nurse und Walman müssen besser werden, Clattenburg und Frederic sollten in einer Reihe spielen.
