  1. NHL needs to end the no trade clause. It's the worst idea the NHL ever allowed the NHLPA to get away with. Players are assets

  2. The Canucks have needed a rebuild for years and years. They never quite completed the Benning "retool" and so we are here where except for Hughes and Cootes, the rest of the team is tradable.
    I think they have to talk honestly to Hughes and begin from there. Hughes may have to go too. If the Canucks are willing to rebuild, then a lot of good can be accomplished. Speed, youth, patience, lots of young talent coming up this year and next, when isn't there?

  3. We need Mark Messier's knowledge and leadership skills to help get the Rangers better. Why has that not happened as yet? I'm not suggesting a coaching change suggesting that he be made part of the team

  4. exactly 8 years should go to only one forward making 15% of cap oilers & leafs shot themselves in the foot with 2 or more. talent & money
