Skinner has great games and flashes of brilliance but can not be counted on. He’ll probably go to a lesser team and without the pressure have a few amazing seasons. Jack Campbell’s implosion didn’t help him much- but let’s remember that Edmonton has never had great defence or a really modern “system” they’re like flashy 80s hockey but under Knobloch it’s become a bit boring low event hockey. Everyone is deflated playing their worst except the new guys. We need a new goalie, a new coach, and a new system and shakeup to get the all world talent of McDrai and friends to another SCF! 🎉

Truth be told, Skinner and Pickard have been the best goalie tandem in the league for their cap hit for the last two years.
Should the Oilers get a new goalie? Yes! Do they have the cap space to upgrade to a better goalie? No!
They should've gave Jack Campbell more of a chance. The dude had a bad first season and then got treated like dead weight. Skinner gets thrust into the starting position and here will are still talking about whether he's good enough to win with
