  1. When I watch the Jets, the one thing I see about 75% (maybe), they never seen to be in the right position for a rebound.

  2. KC is about to be paid $12M for 8 years next year. It's time to see if he can drive a line on his own.

Constantly trying to rearrange the the bottom 9 to find solutions internally is like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. There is not enough talent in this current bottom 9. They want to try everything else except the obvious, which no other team in this league has issues doing.

Not to mention, that top line is not that great defensively, especially against better teams. They also don't drive play, compared to the top lines of the Avs and Habs. Their underlying numbers show that they're not that good.

  3. The first goal was not on Salomonsson. Samberg left the center of the ice to cover Wilson, when he was not a threat to score from there. It left Salo is no man's land. And the 2nd goal, he did blow a tire, but that was a poor pass from Perfetti

All in all, Salo looked pretty comfortable. And he's going to make mistakes, it was his first game. Name young players that don't make mistakes. It doesn't mean he's being rushed before he's ready. He'll make mistakes and need to learn through them. That's the only way to get better. Hell, Stanley was given 9 years to learn through his mistakes. If Salo is sent back down and given a real chance just because his debut was not perfect, he'll be the next prospect asking for a trade.

  4. I worry that asking the question is there sellers, makes me think, you think we are buyers. I’m not sure about that at this point. We might be the sellers in a few more weeks if things keep going this way.

  5. In response ( 4:43 ,) depth scoring has at times been an issue for the Canucks, Alberta NHL teams, Leafs, Sens and Habs.
