He's helped Sheary for good personal reasons, but it's very unprofessional. Every player on the team knows it. Even yesterday Sullivan was singing the praises of Sheary and his hustle and defense, ignoring the fact that he gets pushed off the puck constantly and hasn't shown any ability to score. Sully can’t be a good coach and protect an inferior player for personal reasons, that alone will put him in danger of losing the locker room. As you said the team knows it. Sheary is only serviceable as a fairly fast veteran to fill in for injuries.
