Ridiculous take. Playing defense in the nhl is hard, especially mentally. Viewing the game from the press box from time to time can absolutely help you see certain situations better. It’s like digesting your food before you take another bite. It’s fair to disagree with the coach’s decisions, but saying “you can’t learn from the press box” (especially when he’s playing more than sitting) is just dumb
Young player development is always ruined by playing too much too fast, not the other way around
Still not sure the Sharks are a playoff team as Roster is constructed now. With that being said one or two trades could change that. Next Year, we make the playoffs for sure. The Year after (27-28) and for many Years after that, we’re Cup Contenders! Grier has possibly constructed a Dynasty, cap willing.
