When your first overall pick is a massive bust, it sets the franchise back at least five years.
Their biggest problem is their owner being content with this product. This isn’t an organization being run like a real NHL club.
Adams has lost every trade he has ever made besides the Doan trade. He has missed on every single draft pick he has ever made. They have constantly hired the wrong coaches. This will never end. Missing so badly on Power is beyond detrimental. He is going to do down as one of the worst first over picks in NHL history. He's 4 years into his career and he's regressed every year. How can you be 6'6 and be extremely soft and have zero clue how to defend in front of your own net. Its insane. He has zero compete what so ever. They have 4 guys who compete every night. When your highest competitors on in your bottom 6 you have a GIANT problem top down.

What truly needs to happen imo is fire the GM and get one that you are attempting to keep going forward, new GM fires entire coaching staff and let the new HC hire their assistant coaches and new GM and HC asset current team and make trades. This would be the right way to fix team for next season, not this one, but is also going to be time consuming
Granato was playing his Son Greenway more minutes than everyone on the team except Tuch, he wasn’t a good coach, they missed the playoffs by 1 point because he gave his Son more icetime than everyone besides Tuch. How is that scoring your way out of mistakes? Greenway went 35 games zero goals
I have been saying for years that this team's only consistency is that they are completely inconsistent. Turn overs, lazy play, losing the battles along the boards at both ends and a total lack of accountability continues to plague this team. Stop getting outworked!! They know what's needed to win and be consistent, they won't commit. Just my opinion.
I began watching the game on TNT while in Charlotte, but turned it off after 10 mins, they’re just unwatchable!

The game last night was all on Lindy. When the Flyers scored on the first power play, there was NO WAY that was goalie interference. He challenges, of course loses and we go on the penalty kill again, after Ellis and the team are like what is Lindy doing…. they score again, now we are down 2-1 and the team is mad at their coach – then of course they score again, 3 goals in 56 seconds. Hockey is a lot about momentum and he gave it all away to Philly, on the first game of our most important road trip this year. Then after the 3rd goal, the whole team is reeling….call a timeout, tell the team that is on me, bad challenge – lets get back into this game. Nothing. I'm not saying fire Lindy, but quietly, thank him for all his time in Buffalo and not renew his contract.

The problem is the millions of dollars. These worthless players realize that they get paid if they win the Stanley cup, or hit the basement. These owners need to step up and rewrite the contracts. You don't produce you don't get paid PERIOD!!!
