Honestly, tank for this year, trade some Vets for prospects, then the team should be all better in a year or two. This should be selling point to Quinn for a FUTURE!!

Terrible management. Lankinen at nearly 5mil is CRAZY. Why did they go out and get Evander Kane again? Chytil and Demko were both disasters waiting to happen with no backup plan, literally in the case of the latter. Nearly everyone else is the rest of th league's sloppy 2nd tossaways. EP40 was massively overpaid. Brock, bless his heart, is probably the best contract on the team. Management got lucky with an abnormal season to cover for the fact that they're just winging it. Vancouver is where hopes and dreams go to die.
Wasn't a goal but lets include it on the highlight reel as a goal. Perfectly sums up nuckhead's bias and cope for EP40.

The defence and or defensive structure is the most frustrating part of this season. Going into the season I thought the goaltending and defence would win them more games. I just don't have any answers am sad because I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel.
Trading for a six-time concussed center and letting Suter walk for near 35 year old Kane is enough to fire Allvin and Rutherford. Totally unacceptable.

I usually agree with your takes Nuckhead but to say this team absolutely does not need a rebuild is wild. Not counting the covid year, this core has only made the playoffs ONCE in the last 10 years. Don't get me wrong, if Hughes stays that would be great but at some point you have to look into trading him. A big haul plus a potential top 5 (maybe top 3) pick this year could really put this team in a solid position for the future.
Dont over shadow Ivar Stenberg. He is actually ripping up the Swedish Mens league right now (SHL) Doing numbers like Peter Forsberg and similar players did back before their draft year

Honestly the dumbest thing I've ever heard. The Canucks have always been fan-forward, and that includes efforts to welcome others into their community.
