Leafs played really solid. Should have buried TB much earlier. Had majority of high danger chances but couldn’t take em. Almost came back to bite em!
Anyway more of this type of hockey is needed. Right back in the mix .

Tonight the Leafs played hard, as a team, showing grit, heart, chemistry and desire. They played the full 60 minutes.
That was a proper game, nice to watch.

Nice to see Tavares protecting our Goalie. Hildeby is probably our last good goalie. The leafs should be protecting him like their whole season depends on it, because it does!
Leafs need some players like the Lightning have – the agitators who run/agitate the goalie, draw penalties, spark emotion from their team. Not like Goncalves who threw the knee into Mermis to injure him

What is it with Matthew's finishing? Im trying to make sense of it, he should be finishing many more chances? Creating lots but not finishing, as a top player you need him to finish his chances. Hes very lacklustre on breakaways and open chances. Leafs fan here btw, any thoughts?

Stecher has had an impressive performance since joining the Leafs. McCabe had a damn good game. Both goalies had stellar performances tonight. When are the Leafs going to move Reilly from defense and put him on the wing? I think he's got more goals than 2/3's of the forwards so far this year. Lol

Well [Un]holy makinaw Joe, you forgot about the Red Wings! When the ice shavings settled tonight they leapfrogged the Bolts and ended up in first place 3 points ahead of the Syrup Jesters of Southern Ontario! The Eastern Conference is an absolute bottleneck. If this continues any team no matter their place in the standings, that takes its foot off the gas pedal could eventually end up out of the playoffs! The only teams that seem to be safe in the NHL are the Avalanche and the Stars!!!!!!!!

Thank you JellyHD for making Leaf games watchable. Hockey fans everywhere sit and wait for your videos to drop…. Personally don't want to watch games that have been diversely cleansed – for me it is the smooth baratone voice of Joe that is part of the experience. It doesn't hurt that he knows the players by name and the rules of the game either….. Hildebilly played another really good game and the guy so many of the tennis fans cry about scores again. Good job Reilly. Watching Jarnkrok lose the puck with an empty net in the offensive zone reminded me of HomeRun Hoffman in games 7 of the World Series serving up the homer with one out.
