It was a huge overpay. Straight up would have been fine. Include Kulak to make the numbers work, fine. Why add a 2nd-round pick for an older, more expensive goalie with injury history? As an Oiler fan, I'm going to miss playoff Kulak.

Nothing against Jarry, just think it's a lateral trade with the high contract. Personally I don't think Oilers are done. My concern is Pickard and it would not surprise me if we trade for a top Goalie and Jarry would share the duties. We still have the trade deadline etc.
JARRY can make saves that Skinner can only dream about.
