The Canucks do not want Gavin McKenna. I repeat, the Canucks DO NOT WANT Gavin McKenna! The better piece is Verhoeff, Reid or Villaneuve on D or Lawrence at C as is see Rossi as a 3C on a good deep team and Cootes on the wing.

Small anecdote with adding Liam Öhgren to the trade is the fact he is a childhood friend AND linemate of Jonathan Lekkerimäki, they have had chemistry on the ice since they were under 14 years old
If they knew Hughes was not resigning, then why sign up Demko, Lankinen, Boeser, Garland in a non-move contract.
Overall, it's an ok trade, likely the best they can get. Will miss watching Quinn play, even when the team was losing. He was so fun to watch.
