  1. I love most of ur vids, but I don't agree with many of your points here. Bishop is getting there, and hammer and pateryn have been a good pair.

  2. Any guarded optimism for the Canucks? Good first line. Second line centre who could be argued to be the third. Older dman who makes you wince. And, of course, an unsettled situation in net. Wait, did you just say call yourself Shannon the hockey guy? Please, for the sake of all of us out here who love you, please never do that again.

  3. I think Faksa will be a top 6 forward in time. He's really close, but he's also not very flashy and it's deceptive. Look at that penalty shot goal vs Chicago- He didn't even deke, so Crawford sat there looking like a lawn gnome when the puck passed him. He also made #3 star of the week. I'm excited to see him with top 6 minutes.

  4. I'm only majorly concerned when Oleksiak is in the lineup. He's basically a pylon on skates most shifts. I was initially skeptical of Pateryn as well, but I've grown to like him a lot over the last 10 games or so. Janmark is a poor man's McDavid, but he creates so many scoring chances with his foot speed and awareness. Faksa is best suited for the third line simply because of the game he plays. He is best suited with guys like Pitlick and Roussel, which lately has turned into three lines of scoring for the Stars. Bish had some shaky games earlier in the season but has started to gain confidence with his new squad. Finally the addition of Radulov has given Benn/Seguin a hard working skill player on the right side. I like you am guarded, but I do see playoffs at the end of the year for this club. Great video as usual btw 👍🏻

  5. Have you thought about whether you'll cover the World Juniors? I always love that tournament anf look forward to it all year

  6. from Stars fan, I think you are pretty critical with Lindell, specially about his first season last year when he was top 2 guy and his job was to fix Klingberg's stupid decisions and I think he will be something even he is really underrated 🙂

  7. A few things wrong with the video, it was Seguin that was moved off the first line for a while by Hitch to try to get more secondary scoring not Radulov. And the Pateryn/Hamhuis pair have been a good shutdown pairing. Pateryn has been surprisingly solid as a right handed D-man. Dallas really needs a scoring RW and that makes the Hanzal contract look even worse as they are right at the cap which could prohibit moves at the deadline. That Radulov signing has been amazing tho. Faksa has really turned it on with his one-timer recently, but I'm still not sure he has the vision/passing ability to be a top 2 center.

  8. What are you talking about? Methot has played well for the Stars when he's been in. Yeah no points, but he's not that type of player. I also don't know how healthy he's been for most the year but I can tell you his physicality is huge for our blue line, and the fact that we are winning without him only shows that our defense is better than everyone gives credit

  9. I think it's because methot never wanted to be there, he loved it in ottowa because that's where he was from. In my opinion method would regain confidence and love to play again back in ottowa

  10. Ian Cole would not look nice in a Dallas jersey since they have one of the ugliest jerseys in the NHL

  11. Thoughts on Oleksiak? Do you think he deserves as much ice time as he has been getting? I used to believe in him up until last year. He just seems lost on the ice and makes the laziest passes out of the zone. That 6 spot should be Honka's permanently.

  12. You were right. No depth meant no playoffs. That collapse in March was hard to watch. Had Spezza played like he could've he scores 45 pts and Dallas makes the playoffs. Hitchcock was stupid to scratch Gemel Smith so many games. Ritchie was brutal at many points, Smith deserved that spot.
