That trade just might work out of the Canucks – they got some decent players in return. None as good as Hughes individually, but the 'nucks needed more quality up and down the lineup and they got it. And they got an extra 1st to try to snag another.
canucks only got 15 shots and a fluke goal, demko the only reason they won this. The tank will continue until moral improves
The new guys looked great the 1st period and it was looking like we fleeced the Wild with the trade. Then whatever 'system' we have with Foote took over and we went through a long stretch in the 2nd with no shots. I have a feel we're going to do our yearly thing now where we play better and end up with our usual 15th pick in the draft, lol. We should take Manny's son if we do.

Zeev has almost as much quickness and agility as Quinn, and has just as good vision and poise with the puck….and 20 or 21 yrs old I believe. Pretty damn good with Rossi in the deal. Plus extras. As soon as I looked for Zeev highlights I knew Canucks did not lose the trade
