   The season is slip, slip, slipping away. Incompetence from the front office all the way down to the trio of Hiller/King/Brown.
   Sprinkle in a roster of neutered players that refuse to go through a wall for each other and your blue chips playing like lead chips and you have the Robitaille led 25-26 LA Kings.

   What an absolute mess.

   In terms of the Kings responding with a fight or what not. Don’t get me wrong, I love Kopitar, I’ve grown up watching him and matching his style in my play, HOWEVER he is too respectful and kind. A response was warranted, I myself would rather allow one penalty and send the message of there will be a response but he’s too soft. Speaking of this loss, it’s sad to watch them play, atleast before we lead the league in wins at home and now we can barely win a game for the life of us. It’s not like they had a MAJOR change but they just don’t care it seems like, no sense of wanting to win :/

   HILLER HAS TO BE FIRED . They went through a stretch just like this , and then changed their play style to attack8ng and d pinching and taking some risks AND THEY SCORED 12 goals in two games ! Then they went right back to same DEFENCE FIRST THAT DOES NOT WORK ! And 5he PP I mean why not make changes IT CANT BE WORSE ! Also there has been to many games they get out worked ! This team is boring ,BAD ! UNFIT ! ZERO RESILIENCE! I kind of hag3 them …..

   Someone should’ve “accidentally” ran the Dallas goalie. Team wasn’t good enough to win anyways. Why not take some liberties and fight. We won the cup with Dustin Brown as Captain twice. He was hard on the puck and hit everything that moved. We had a team that stood up for each other. Now we have Kopitar as captain. Wouldn’t even harm a fly. Besides a few guys on this team, we have a bunch of guys who are scared of being physical and can’t take body contact. Too small. I expect 2 more losses in Florida.

    With the way the season is going and now the injury I'm just over watching these games live. It's personally annoying for me to see the Kings not meet the standard of LA teams this year. I'll continue to support your channel though 😎

    Refs said no penalty was called for the Darcy hit as it happened outside the blue. Not what I saw. Should have been reviewed.

    I think the Kings' season was summed up in their response to Kuemper getting hurt. Everyone knows the team doesn't have it and everything that is done at this point is performative for Luc's last gasp at controlling the team and Kopi's last season. The best course is to get value out of all the players that still have it on the team and prepare for a rebuild; which means that the Kings are going to make a desperate costly trade and crash and burn into and throughout the offseason desperately clutching to the past and Luc pleading to AEG and the fanbase how close the Kings were to contention when they weren't even in the ballpark.

    Eddie, you did a great job describing why Kuemper was removed from the game and the impact of a concussion. As far as Kuemper's status, I hate to say it but it doesn't matter. As Darryl Sutter always said, the NHL is a 3-2 league. The Kings are a 1 goal team. If you can score, you can't win. I agree with many of the other commenter s and our team is ready for a rebuild. This team has no grit. KHs signings have all disappeared. Dumolin let Ratanen skate right into Kuemper, Ceci and Perry are having zero positive impact and Aria is once a month impact player. Our top guys are also MIA and they aren't the type of players you can count on to take over a game. Sorry, those are just the facts that we have been dealt so its obviously time to switch out the deck we are playing with.

    Time for a major re-do. They need to go get De Boer to coach hoping hes ready to come back. They also need to target players who are from the area so they dont leave to be near home. The name first coming to mind is Jason Robertson hes from Thousand Oaks. They need to find someone wlse o the2nd or 3rd year of their career. Right now i think VERY few of them are untradeable. They are unwatchable as the the other commenter said

    This team perhaps as hopless as I have seen in long long time. I love Kopi he is incredible player for 20 years but this year his game slipped a lot. Kopi makes many uncharacteristic mistakes and turnovers.
    Every center is not performing thus offense is non-existent. QB literally invisible throughout the games. Only three players earning their paycheck Kempe, Fiala and Lafereyre and best player Kemper. I do not see how this team wakes up this season!! If Kemper is hurt for even a few weeks then Kings are done!!

    No disrespect, Eddie, but I do not agree with your assignment. The lack of response magnifies what is wrong with this team. Perry was the only one that really seemed to have a problem with it, and that's also very telling. He's coming from teams that have made deep runs of late, and none of them would have let that go like that. Staying out of the penalty box is thrown out the window at that point. Other teams know this about the kings, and that's why they start running and injuring our players when the playoffs get close.

    Alex Turcotte, really needs to watch game film. He was caught puck watching on a goal that all centerman know to watch the weak side like a hawk. He was energetic and engaged on the boards, but you cannot miss an open player so obvious.

    Hiller should have been immediately held accountable after the game for no response to the Kuemper hit and injury even though it wasn't deliberate and may have been bumped into the goalie. If Hiller isn't going to do anything, the captain should have done something or said to someone on the team to run at their goalie or go after Rantanen. Yeah we all know Kopitar's personality but one of those that holds C or A should have stepped up and done something
