Beat 2 better teams than Buffalo on the road missing several key guys. Come home and get major reinforcements but lose to one of the worst teams in the league was extremely predictable. These guys just can’t stand prosperity.

Devils team shooting percentage is about 0.1 % from being dead last. They need players that can shoot on this team.
Players of this team have to understand something : they are not talented enough to run on talent alone . This is the top league in the world and it takes top effort to win here .
Just watched the game on replay that was i would say one of th3 most frustrating games of the year. We were good in 1st. 2nd we relaxed and were very poor. We pushed in the 3rd but no real great shots but some tough ones we just could not generate enough offense and I feel bad our goalies need to allow 1 goal or less nightly because we are not getting any scoring . This offense needs to pick it up fast just no scoring 1 or 2 goals a game is very hard to win consistently.
Buffalo pushed at times and we had some good chances but could not score. Goalies cant be perfect every night. The power play is poor right now and not generating nearly enough offense.bad loss. Teams typically struggle after a road trip and we did not have our best in this one. Need to bounce back fast in big rival game vs isles on Tuesday
And now at home we cant seem to get anything going. We are winning on road at Ottawa at Utah at Vegas and then home losses to Canucks and sabres
Isles game is huge we owe them after our loss in 1st meeting. Thats a huge game heading into Christmas 3 of 4 heading into Xmas and 2nd game with guys back hope we have a strong effort on the island tuesday night in an important game particularly in standings
Hoping this one can be summed up to 1st game back after a trip out west combined with needing to get guys readjusted but this was poor need to generate more that 1-2 goals a night if that at times..
Isles is on road a rivalry game a revenge game and a chance to jump them heading into Christmas this game is very important right before Xmas at the isles
Not getting scoring from bratty mercer or nico right now. Need to get some goals back going particularly bratt right now . Big fan but needs to get something going again as far as goals
