My guess is Berube had a meeting with Treliving and he tried to throw Savard under the bus. Treliving fires Savard and tells Berube he has 1 more game to prove himself. They'll likely lose on Tuesday and Berube will be gone on December 27th.

Don’t consume much official leaf media but I watch a lot of Habs stuff and ownership and management always say how hockey smart their fans are and they respect that. From watching your stuff it seems the leafs think their fans are all dumb and only there to make money off of.

Steve I've been to 2 games this year and from what I've seen with my own eyes is a group of guys that have no work ethic till it's to late. And even then it's not a good effort. They are big and weak powerplay is bad cause of the guy who passes the puck at 3 km/h no urgency from Rielly at all. I think it's time we embrace another rebuild just to get our hopes up with a core of high talented guys with no heart.
