I proposed trading Matthews to LA for Byfield, Clarke and picks 18 months ago on this very site. People Laughed. Now you are finally seeing what has been painfully obvious since their playoff loss in 2024. I’m not sure LA does that deal today.

Why not let Willy Bystander, Morgan Unreliable and Captain Creampuff hire the new coach..may as well since they have a No Movement Clauses.
If you bring in a new coach and they start flying again they will always turn into a pumpkin when the going gets tough. It's over because this core group will never have it when it's on the line anyways. Get the assets when you can and change the culture with dogs with bite

If there is a trade btw the Leafs and Kings for Matthews. Kings don't have anyone. Byfield ? You know what would happen. As soon as he's puts on the leafs jersey he will turn soft. Organization is a scam I believe . I bet a lot of games are rigged and gambling is happening man. Remember a season ago . Sat night vs Habs at home when they came out flying in first period.. Up 3-0. 2nd and 3rd period they threw in the towel. The game stands out. There are other ones too. Rewatch that game. Very obvious.
