Was no way expecting a goal like that by Hayes but it was very sweet. Have always thought those OT/Shootout points are very valuable and to not practice it doesn't make sense. Coach Bylsma possibly looked at it this way and practiced this a lot. There was a time when Geno and Sid were automatic. Also Fleury was maybe one of best shootout goalies in league. It will take a little time but it good to see Pens practice it once again. Very smart

When I saw him come out as first shooter, I thought "huh. They must have actually continued to practice and put out someone that's been scoring!"
when I saw him I said oh no are we serious, but I’ll also be the one to say don’t use the same shooters, hockey fans can never be happy it seems, but just sit back and watch and what do you know, Kevin Hayes man.
My first thought about Haysey coming out was "what the?" "Well, he must be looking the best in practice?"
I wish Sid would come straight down the middle with speed, not that I'm anyone to advise one of the GOATs
