Trade Boeser and Garland. Like both of them but I think it’s time for them to go
In terms of veterans, I would keep Hronek, Petey, and Boeser. Petey was turning the corner and does a lot of good things other than score.
Yes trade EP40 he is like a blond woman takes your money & gives you nothing!
petey is a canuck for life
Yes!!!!! yes !!!!!!! yes !!!!!!!!!!! ffs how long can the charade last ????????????
I've been saying to trade him since last year. You don't win with players who pee sitting down.
Trade for Dahlin
I think casuals who dont understand hockey look for a whipping boy. Petey has had a good season. The team was trash. The line of thinking that people are taking is why we will never win, because they buy in to the media garbage thats constantly spewed.
reasonable takes. definitely don't let fans run the asylum in fact, the more you go with what the fans want, generally the worse your team will become. i don't love petey's attitude and apparent toxicity but at the same time he is still uniquely gifted. we dont have to give up on him yet.
Trade Petey for the best package. However, due to Peteys last two years of play, the Canucks are dealing more from a postion of weakness and not strength. Petey NMC also complicates the trade return as well. So Canucks fans dont expect a Quinn Hughes package in return.
why? he is doing fine this year. he had 1 bad year lol
His contract is bad and he is soft. A player is only worth what he brings. For whatever reason Peter isn’t working out here in Van. A change of scenery might help him.
Keep petey, even if he never hits 100 points again his contract as it ages im sure it well get better as the cap goes up, and hes garaunteed to be here and hes still young enough to be involved with whatever this plan is, i mean if they rebuild he helps hit the cap floor either way
Best defenseman in the NHL? 😂🤣🤷♂️
Yes, he should be traded. Players shouldn't be rewarded long term for just one outstanding season of play. He can get a fresh start elsewhere. The Nux also need a fresh start without him.
There is no way on earth Buffalo would trade Dahlin for that soft as mink fur bum. Byram, draft pick and a great prospect is all you could get from Buffalo.
I have faith in EP40! Who is even on his line that can play? No one! This management group never putted anyone capable at all to play with EP40 after they traded away Kuzmenko for rentals.
If we trade EP40 now, we will regret it. Wait guys. Let's see if he gels with Rossi, they might be a great pair. And once we get McKenna, we might be competitive again sooner than expected.
The only person trading Petey is himself. NTC
Trade his Bud Hoglander too.
Yes please get rid of the grouch
Pettersson for Dahlin, or Benson/Power
Only Taylor swift can get him to remove the no trade clause.
Now let's go probably carolina or Buffalo Last fun goal colorado avalanche Bruce Boudreau
As soon as possible , i would take a case of beer for that bum if it was my team.
Yes, but there is no rush. Would rather he build is value higher to get more in return. He does need to GTFO out of Van.
Trade Him to Minnesota?
Get over it, he wont be traded because no one is gonna want to pick up that contract. His current output is not worth 11.6M. Players scoring an equivalent number of points this year are making 5-6.5M. If we are lucky, we will get a first round pick for him.
I’ve been saying trade EP40 since before he signed his big extension
Elias Quittersson lol
pleeeeeeeeeeease
My last addition to my list for Santa.
Petey and the Wild's 1st for Austin Matthews. No salaries retained.
Canucks need to be patient until he builds back his trade value a bit his contract is so high and long that we would get fleeced if we trade him this season plus we need trade bait for future seasons on 1st round picks if we trade everybody for 2026 first rounders then we're missing out on 2027 first rounders and if we are truly rebuilding lol which is apparently now a 'hybrid retooling" then there shouldn't be a rush in waiting 1-2 years until he hopefully builds trade value.
I’m just gonna say this…. Unless Buffalo is trading for Celebrini, McDavid, Draisaitl or maybe Robertson… we will not be trading our Captain Rasmus Dahlin to anyone
They are never going to trade EP40. His contract makes it impossible. He is getting paid for the next seven years like a top 10 forward. He is currently the 55th center points wise and 125th overall points wise. The Canucks would have to retain half of his salary and they would still only get a bag of practice pucks in return.
Can we just come to the consolation he's run his corse? But he's not helping the team, its time to move on from him.. if he becomes a superstar some where else GREAT! just get some value for him.
He's not a bad player at this point, and considering the cap will continue to climb as inflation kicks into high gear his contact won't look that bad in a few years. I suspect both him and Boeser were hurt by the jab. Boeser for sure as blood clots are a common symptom. Maybe his health recovers over time and he gains back his strength. It's better than giving him up for nothing…
fire ep40 into the sun
