    Honestly? I think the league should take a page out of the NFL's book – Have an off-ice official in the building watching video replay, who can confirm/overturn calls on the spot, without needing to involve the Situation Room for small matters. Not necessarily replacing the Situation Room, but giving the on-ice officials a safety net who could catch anything they just didn't see

    A refs challenge is like communism, sounds nice on paper but an actual nightmare in practice

    Can we just be honest and admit the refs are getting worst year in and year out! I say the NHL forces them to be accountable… that would be a win!
