Mika doesn't need to regain anything. He has been a model teammate his entire career, one mishap with mass transit and he sat a game, case closed. Berard should be in for Brodzinski or Raddysh.

Benching 93 for that was a dumb military sense of discipline where the group gets punished for the mistakes of one. That may work where making mistakes leads to serious consequences, but this hockey. There are plenty of other ways to discipline a player other than this. I know other teams do it, but I think the principle of it is flawed. Would they bench 93 for game 7 of the Cup Finals? No. If the key to discipline is consistency, what's consistent about not benching guys under different circumstances? And they lost that game, and had multiple PP chances that you think 93 would have done something on. Im glad they lost that game.

That’s the problem with these young players they are utilized the way they never were and that takes away who they really are. From 1 – 10 with 10 being awesome. The first period was a 5, the second period a 5 but the third period was a 10. It’s like they were given RedBull between periods and BANG they were off to the races.
