I was waiting for the question on defense cause that's our team's biggest issue right now. The fact that Steve said the defensive depth is good and not great or excellent and knows that Jensen rushed back to early after surgery gives me a bit more confidence that he is indeed looking for another right side defenseman I really hope we get it. Cause not only Jensen but Spence as well haven't shown they are Top 4 D this season. I would say Spence has the slight edge over Jensen but I don't like the look of both of them being in the lineup especially when we have a defenseman like Matinpalo who I have full confidence in playing with Kleven on that bottom pair

Staois needs to either be a President of Hockey Ops or a GM, not both. PHO seems better suited for him. This teams an experienced winning GM fast.
This teams needs a lot of things, but start with getting a new defensive and PK Coach, and also a new goalie coach. Things aren't working in these 2 areas since last season.
Ottawa is a small market. Fan base are tired of excuses. This city deserves a winning team and culture. Don't do the playoffs, Mr. Andlauer may need to say goodbye to his friend (Mr. Staois). This isn't the OHL, it's the NHL.
Fans will not just boo you. They will stop coming (especially in this shitty economy).
If they can get a solid and strong winning streak, it will give the fans back a sense of hope for the playoffs.
