Robertson's been taking some bad penalties. He took one that led to the Panthers power play goal and it almost changed the whole momentum of the game They started to really pour it on and luckily we got our own power play go after that I'm okay with him coming out for a couple let him watch a few games
Im glad robertsons coming out, havent liked him in the nhl. Whenever hes on the ice I do not trust the defense at all. Think he would make a good trade piece
I'd listen to trade offers for EVERYONE on this roster. There is no untradable Ranger at this point. This roster isn't winning anything
Robertson to me seems like a guy that will bounce around from team to team as the 7D. Plays well enough to get you through a bind, but never well enough to be considered safe from being a healthy scratch. The same can be said about Vaakanainen.
Rempe is totally useless unless he's crushing people into the boards. His stick skills are barely AHL quality.
There is a clear message being sent with this lineup with Dowling, Brodz, Blidh and Vaac all in and Berard and Robertson sitting and Othmann and Morrow in Hartford, and if you ask me; it's a bad one. All the veterans are in and all the younger guys, except for Gabe, are sitting or have already been sent back back down (I'd bet anything that if Sheary were available, Perreault may not be in either)? Does that mind set sound like Chris Drury is taking calls on Panarin right now?

I like Robertson a lot. I think the decision has been made to bag this year and go after it in offseason and start fresh next year. Sullivan and Drury Im sure are on same page. Aa for Panarin, I think he is still their best offensively player and who exactly will replace him. Two guys possibly.
Even if the made playoffs they have no chance at a run so better sort of tank. Get a good pick and add theough free agency.

No playoffs with Mike "sucks again" Sullivan. This will be 4 years without getting his team there. Shouldve gone after Joel Quenneville. Nope had to hire his stale friend whos on a downward slide.
Robertson has been the Rangers best all round defenseman. Fox included. (When was Fox's last body check) Robertson is currently their best head manning the puck D man. But it fits a pattern with Sullivan. He prefers 30 year old veterans. He's so old school, it's sad. Every cup winning dynasty, including Pittsburgh, was led by players in their early to mid 20s. Gretzky, Kane, Kopitar, Crosby, Orr, Trottier.. but this guy likes them old and slow, just so long as they don't make mistakes.
