  1. 1:40 "Cole Perfetti" ROFLMAO the 166th overall pick for the player that was drafted 10th O/A? This guy is smoking rocks.

Cole is only underperforming because he's playing WITHOUT A BONAFIDE 2ND LINE CENTERMAN. Whereas Mangiapane has consistently played his way down to the 4th line on ALL three teams he's played for in the NHL. The soilers ought to have known this before they signed him.

What you're seeing is what you're going to get from Mangiapane from here on out, he's a 4th line plug. Unless Bowman can call in a favor to someone who owes him, I'm thinking EDM is gonna have to pay someone to get rid of him.

  2. U trade Pickard. You have Ungar I know it's different leagues but still gotta give him looks. Rather them trade Pickard then sending Ingram down.

  3. This is a take no one will agree with me in the comments. This hasn't been Pickards only good game this season, but instead the first good game he's had with the team giving him proper support. I think Pickard stays number 1 until you get Jarry back, then you see if either Jarry stays healthy or just keep playing Pickard while he's hot with some tandem starts with Jarry. Pickard has done amazing things for this hockey club. Maybe it's time we stop thinking he's our number 1 backup, and it instead maybe gives him the chance to be the #1 goalie in Edmonton.

  4. He had a good year here in calgary but he was pretty useless for the most part and lazy.

  5. Pickard is a 33 year old, journeyman goalie. Oilers afraid to lose the worst goals saved above expected goalie over the past 2 seasons is such an Oiler thing to do

  6. Remember Pics has saved our ass the last two playoffs when stu was weak ! He is a solid dependable back up for sure. Connor Ingram will be used in the next few years.

  7. Wasn’t the delusional oilers fans touting Mangiapane as a “scorer” to slide in on Draisaitl’s or McDavid’s line and produce. News flash, the flames couldn’t wait to get rid of Mangiapane because he’s as useless as a bag of square pucks. Even Washington knew this and yet Oilers thought they scored big when they signed him 🤣

  8. No one is taking Mangiapane and his 3.6 mil salary for 2 years. The oilers will need to half of that and attach a draft pick along with Mangiapane to get someone to take Mangiapane

  9. The Flames let him go for a reason. But Mangiapane was a pretty good player. But not part of their rebuild!!

  10. Trade Mangiapane for a 3rd round pick in 2040. It doesn't matter; just get the cap space off the books and move on. I could see moving Janmark as well; he's been a solid 4th line guy but Lazar brings the same skill set for less money. Moving both would give 5 million in cap space that could be used to fill gaps at the trade deadline. That could be important, especially if injuries come up.
