@camandstrick #nhl #nhlhistory #nhlshorts #hockey #oldschoolhockey #detroitredwings #nhllegends #hockeyhits #nhltrade #90shockey #hockeystories #nhlclassic #nhlplayers #hockeyculture

  1. He grew up around the corner from me. Our families knew each other, as he is the same age as my older brother, and they both played on the same hockey team before Kirk left for the OHL. He would bring the Stanley Cup to town when he won, and go to the local pub with it. Everyone would go down to sit and take photos with him and the cup.

  2. That's totally hockey right there. Wasn't often we ended up at the same bar with the team we just played but that's the way to handle it.

  3. #18 comes with some weight. Copp? Yeah Andrew I don’t know if you carry that weight homie. Check me out when you gotta couple Cups doggie.

  4. Coffey was no Selkie winner himself. Did a lot of dirty stuff throughout his career, and some would say he had it coming for awhile? It was a clean hit by Maltby anyways

  5. Maltby was nail gun and Coffey boy was he soft , Great skater but what a soft player Bowman traded him for Shanny what a deal to solidify back to back cups

  6. Maltby was a Shit Disturber (SD) who would never back it up. Good player, but as a Wings' fan I didn't care for his style.

  7. He didn't wear a visor playing in Edmonton, then he started wearing one of the biggest ones in the league while with Detroit. I mean it was huge. What made him switch?

  8. Man I loved Maltby. He played with grit, sawdust, and vinegar. Just nasty. Old time hockey player
