Senators were barely a speed bump to Montreal last night. Their goalie said they were used to fans not showing up. Their rebuild is falling apart. I guess that’s what they get for being annoying online.

What a useless afternoon / night from all the teams we wanted to win yesterday, or who were just involved (Ottawa). At one point everyone of those teams playing an Atlantic team was in the lead, and every single one of them lost haha. And Ottawa vs Montreal did the worst thing and went to OT (with a blown 2 goal ENG lead by Ottawa too)
A couple of days late but man it’s good to see Florida got destroyed by Carolina. Fuck the Panthers.
I think last weekend and this weekend were the reality checks that there’s no football all day so now I have time to do stuff and I don’t know what to do

I hope Merilainen requests a trade and then becomes a stud wherever he goes like every other young Ottawa goalie. like I get it, he has had historically bad performances, and it is definitely on him to some extent, but continuing to run your historically bad goalie and being surprised that he continues to be bad, ESPECIALLY as a 23 year old rookie goaltender picked in the 3rd round is ridiculous. then to publicly shit on the guy, like imagine if multiple of our guys shit on Kasper during his slump? how do you even get your confidence back? I know for me personally, as someone who struggles a lot with mental health, that would genuinely decimate me mentally. I’d be requesting a trade ASAP and that’s coming from someone who lives in Ottawa and actually kind of likes it here lol
